Synthetaicer “From the Caribbean to Florian Schneider”. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Synth, Roots and Techno are three of the many things that we will find in the upcoming single Synthetaicer from Estación Sub_Trópico, which this Dominican electronic music band uses to pay tribute to two of the great representations of music worldwide: Florian Schneider, who was
one of the two founding members of the pioneering German Electronic Music band Kraftwerk, andThe Guloyas, a folkloric manifestation now Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
These influences are expressed in this new single in a very tangible way, mixing Techno and Synth Pop with the music developed byLos Cocolos, created by inhabitants from the English islands in the Lesser Antilles and Martinique who migrated to Dominican Republic in the 19th century.
“For us, the importance of music lies, in large part, in the truths that can be told and in being able to pay tribute to the struggles that generations have had to wage throughout our history as humanity”.
The title of the song is a combination of the two languages and brings out “the valuable contribution of analog synthesizers to music in general, especially in Electronic”.
